Job Description
| Perform Geometrical inspection, dimensional inspection, assembly inspection of heavy & large size fabricated and finish machined components during in process & final stage at shop or at vendor works.To conduct NDT (MPI, DP, UT) inspections of rough, semi-finished & machined components (Castings, Forgings, Welded structures) at various stages as mentioned in QAP, Process sheet. Liaison with client / customer / customer’s representative for inspection activities & clearances.Prepare test plan / inspection plan / checklist / I Forms /Control Cards for critical components, assemblies used for inspections.Raise product NCRs wherever deviation is observed & conduct root cause analysis for corrective actions.Capable to handle NCR Management System.To verify & certify inspection reports, test Certificates related to castings, machined components, and NDT inspections & to clear the material through SAP-QM.Handle Customer inspections & prepare inspection documents as per contractual requirement. Liaison with customer for inspection activities & participate in vendor preorder meeting to create QAP awareness to vendor.To conduct Vendor assessment audit, patrol audit & prepare the audit report.Conduct Internal Audit as per ISO 9001:2015 and prepare Audit report. |
