Lead – Civil & Structural Engineering (Projects)

AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT, India

Key Accountabilities

The primary responsibility is to manage and accomplish the disciplined application of the design in the airport projects.
Checking and preparing (as required) to ensure that all the design deliverables meet the requirements as per applicable codes and standards and should be ready to develop design expertise.
To investigate any design and analysis/interpretation of factual data.
Communicating and coordinating all the technicalities with the internal as well as external stakeholder as well as counterparts in the team and consultants/contractors
Managing team and subordinates and alignment of the team with organizational & Departmental goals.
Taking responsibility for teamwork and producing higher quality technical output
Prepare and Maintain Weekly and Monthly reports.
Prepare and Maintain Planning & Design Action List for each meeting.
Prepare and Maintain Chronology reports with respect to revisions and allied changes.
Maintain folder integrity in the established format. Document and maintain the Project folder which shall encompass all information, correspondence, drawings etc.
Prepare documents to provide updates as required.
Report all activities to the reporting manager to ensure transparency in working.

Candidate shall have 15-17 years of experience in Design & Engineering projects.
Experience in Structure design and engineering of various industrial, commercial structures.
Experience in Storm water drainage design, Basic knowledge of roads alignment, planning and geometrics.
Managing a team of civil & structural engineering team.
Capable of providing value engineering options and opportunities.
Capable of reviewing, preparing (as required) and managing the Civil and structure design project.
Capable of reviewing, preparing (as required) and managing the Storm water design project.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Engineering coordination with consultants.
A graduate/postgraduate in civil/ structure engineering degree or equivalent qualification
Airport experience will be an added advantage

Handing over of civil structures to subsequent activities in structure, piping and E&I jobs
