In 1998 Sevavardhini was established as NGO in Mumbai under the BPT Act 1950 and also under the Society’s Act 1960.  Sevavardhini is a support service initiative aiming to facilitate field level voluntary activities and support services with each other for optimal deployment of resources. It operates all over India.  Sevavardhini has built up network of 250 plus voluntary organizations, from all over the India, having strong footings at grassroots through various development related initiatives.

These network organizations are engaged in variety of social services like Agriculture, Energy, Water, Education, Health, Cultural, Rehabilitation, Women & Child empowerment, Rural development, Upliftment of Nomadic tribes/Backward classes, Sustainable development, Livelihood, Waste management, Institution building etc.  Sevavardhini provides support services like Project formulation, Various types Surveys, PRA & other studies, Case studies, Various types of Assessment & Evaluation studies ( e.g Impact assessment & evaluation studies, Need assessment & evaluation studies etc.), Conducting Training and workshops for capacity building, Institution building, Advisory services and fund raising, Resource mobilization etc.  Sevavardhini has formulated its Vision & Mission statements & Goals and set its Values for guidance of its operative personnel.

JD – 001 – Job Title: Project Manager

Sevavardhini is working for Rural Development in Project Gramdoot; in Maval Taluka of Pune District.

Location: Tal. – Maval, Dist. – Pune

Qualification:

  1. Minimum Qualification – BE/B Tech (Mech./Ele./Civil)/ M. Sc./M. Com. /M.S.W.
  2. Desirable Qualification – ME/M Tech (Mech./Ele./Civil)/ M.Sc./M. Com./M.S.W. & Doctorate/ M.B.A.

 

Skills:

  1. HRM, Finance, MIS, Task/Target oriented
  2. Fluency of written & oral communication in English, Marathi & Hindi
  3. Ability to work with community
  4. Aptitudes for field work

 

Experience:

  1. About 5 to 7 years of working in Integrated Rural Development
  2. Age – about 35 Years

 

Job Description:

  1. Planning, Implementation & monitoring of the project
  2. Communication with all stake holders like Partner NGO, Field Staff, Beneficiaries
  3. Designing various training modules and conducting trainings
  4. Coordination with the project managers and planning of works for various phases of the Project
  5. Carry out any assignment given to you by the Management from time to time

 

Project Duration: 3 Years

  1. Need to travel all over Maharashtra for field work
  2. Coordination with partner organizations of Project Jaldoot on various objectives/tasks of the project.
  3. Site co-ordination, implementation as per projects design, supervision etc.
  4. Documentation for the project.
  5. Formulate proposals after discussion with various teams and basic research.
  6. Carry out any assignment given to you by the Management from time to time.
