JOIN OUR TUNNELS AND UNDERGROUND STRUCTURES DEPARTMENT IN GURGAON
In Tunnels and Underground Structures, you will become part of COWI’s Tunnels unit. Tunnel and Underground Structures numbers more than 100 skilled experts worldwide, and we are among the tunnelling departments with the largest capacity in the world. We are experienced in all types of tunnels in sectors ranging from highways, metros and cavernisation to energy and power, and we cover the entire lifecycle of a project from idea, concept and design to operation and maintenance.

DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
In this position you will join our global team of experts and will report to Head of Section, Tunnels. Your finest task in our team will be to produce designs and calculations for a variety of tunnel and underground structures projects.
 

On a day-to-day basis you will:

• Provide technical input to assigned projects assisting in the development of conceptual design
• Ensure conformance with all applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
• Be involved in preparation of calculations and drawings
• Perform calculations for analysis

To succeed in this position, we believe you have strong command over written & spoken English to be able to interact with internal as well as external teams and you have a structured work approach and can develop practical solutions
 

Furthermore, you should:

• Hold a master’s degree in Civil Engineering with 1-5 years of experience in Structural Engineering
• Possess technical design experience within tunnelling and underground infrastructure (metro station, C&C tunnels) and be capable of producing conceptual and detail designs, preparing / checking calculations for a variety of structures.
• Possess strong analytical ability and a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and current design standards
• Have FEM design experience
