Capstone is a civil & structural engineering firm founded in 2005 in Mumbai. From a small beginning, the firm has grown to a team of more than fifty full time members, consisting of civil & structural design engineers, CAD technicians, project managers, NDT engineers & technicians and structural inspection engineers. Our diverse team has enabled us to provide the complete range of civil & structural engineering services through our in-house resources, a capability that a very few structural engineering firms in India can claim of.
We also have an in-house construction material testing laboratory (NABL accredited) with advanced Non-destructive and Semi-Destructive testing equipment. Our expertise in non-destructive testing is regularly used by the largest industrial houses in India, including Tata Group, Reliance, Jindal Steel, Hindustan Unilever and more.
Apart from projects in India, our firm’s expertise has been used in projects globally in locations such as Iceland, UAE, Canada, USA, Caribbean Islands, Switzerland, UK, Guernsey, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Singapore, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Ghana, Malawi, Vietnam and Brunei amongst others.
The type of projects that we have been worked on has also been diverse and includes high rise buildings, institutional buildings, consumer goods & pharma factories, chemical plants, steel & cement plants, cold storages, road & rail bridges, solar & wind power plants, nuclear power projects, AIS/GIS substations, telecom infrastructure and marine structures.

Structural Engineers
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications and estimate construction costs and in a supervisory capacity make decisions independently and direct the development of structural engineering projects. Work with other engineers and CAD technicians to complete project deliverables. Assist Business Development in pursuing new work including participation in client presentations.
Education:
B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience:
1 – 3 years comprehensive structural engineering experience with designing residential and industrial structural systems including coordination with other disciplines. Ability and experience in working in a team environment.
Additional Education, Qualifications Desired:
Master’s Degree preferred. Background in steel and concrete structural design for buildings, foundations and industrial structures. Familiarity with STAAD, ETABS and AutoCAD desirable. Familiarity with British and US standards preferred.
CADD Technicians
Duties & Responsibilities:
Will work with an engineer. Work involves editing and plotting existing CADD drawings, preparation of plans, details, sketches, drawings and designs. Will perform other functions necessary to successfully complete projects. The extent of these tasks will be based on individual capabilities and experience. Adhere to accepted industry and company standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
Diploma in engineering drawings and course work in AutoCAD and/or Microstation (or equivalent education and experience).
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in an architectural or engineering firm.
Other Requirements:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Microstation. Must be in position to form new drawings, able to edit existing sketches, able to draw with two-dimensional commands using proper standards, and able to operate plotter.
Additional Education, Qualifications Desired:
Shop drawing review – Cost estimating skills
Assistant Project Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
