Sub: Apprenticeship Mela for Engineering Graduates on 15.10.2022 at Govt. Polytechnic Kalamassery
Kindly note that as per Govt. notification cited above, interested candidates are required to attend Apprenticeship Mela (Centralized Walk-in- Interview) for selection of Graduate apprentice.
In case of shortage of candidates available through Apprenticeship Mela notification will be issued separately by FACT Training Centre as per the procedure followed every year.
Eligible dependents of FACT employees are hereby advised in their own interest to attend the Apprenticeship Mela without fail and apply for the vacancies available.
GRADUATE APPRENTICES
Period of Training: One Year (Stipend INR.10000/-p.m.)
Qualification: Engineering Degree (B.Tech/BE UGC/AICTE recognized course) in any one of following discipline:
1.Computer
2. Computer Science and Engineering
3.Civil
4.Chemical
5.Mechanical
6.Electrical & Electronics
7.Instrumentation & Control
8.Applied Electronics & Instrumentation
9.Electronics & Instrumentation
10.Safety And Fire Engineering
Eligibility:
Engineering Degree with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks in qualifying exam for General category and minimum 50% marks for SC/ST in the relevant discipline and should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Degree as on 31.03.2023. BOAT Southern Region Registered KERALA Candidates are only eligible to apply.
Age limit:
Age not more than 25 years as on01-01-2023
For general candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1998 For OBC candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1995
For SC/ST candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1993
Reservation: As per rule (Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD)
Note:
The candidates belonging to the disciplines mentioned above can only apply.Engineering Degree in any other discipline or equivalent will not be considered.
Instructions to the candidates :-
1. The applications are to be submitted at Apprenticeship Mela (Centralized Walk-in-Interview) on 15.10.2022 at Govt. Polytechnic Kalamassery. For more information please contact phone no: 0484-255 6530/ sdcentre.org SD Centre Kalamassery.
2. A copy of the following documents should be attested and submitted to the Apprenticeship Mela (Centralized Walk-in-Interview) along with the application form.
a. 10th Pass Certificate& Mark list for Graduate Candidate.
b. 12thPass Certificate & Mark list for Graduate Candidate.
c. Graduation Pass Certificate & Mark List
d. One passport size photo
e. Caste Certificate in the case of SC/ST, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in the case of OBC candidates & EWS Certificate in the case of Economically weaker section (which should be valid as per the date mentioned in the certificate and in any case issued latest by 6 months by an officer not less than the rank of a Tahsildar) Disability Certificate (for PwBD candidates) from competent Medical Board (PwBD will be considered for selection to Computer Discipline only).
f. Aadhaar Card.
g. Dependency Certificate (Applicable for dependents of FACT Employees).
Due care should be taken while filling email id and phone number. Both are essential for future correspondence.
3. Incomplete application or application received after the due date or application without the above mentioned certificates will be liable for rejection without any intimation and will not be considered for selection.The certificate which are not original / legible will be liable for rejection without any intimation.
4. The list of the eligible candidates will be published in our website www.fact.co.in and the candidates will be informed through their e-mail.
5. Students awarded with CGPA/Grade system should produce conversion certificate of CGPA/Grade into percentage obtained from their university /board. For thus who have not submitted the conversion certificate, the UPSC’s CGPA conversion formula will be applicable.
6. Graduate candidates should register themselves in the online web portal of Board of Apprenticeship Training (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) under ‘Students’ category. BOAT Southern Region KERALA registered candidates are only eligible to apply. The Registration ID and password should be available with the applicants.
7. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates is allowed as per rules ( PwBD will be considered for selection to Computer Discipline Apprenticeship only.)
8. The merit list for selection will be prepared based on marks obtained in Qualifying Examination 50% marks and Plus Two 50% marks weightage for graduate. In case of tie marks of the immediately preceding qualifying examination will be considered. In the case of further ties, priority will be given for marks obtained in the order of Maths, Physics & Chemistry in 12thstandard examination for Graduate candidates.
9. The selected candidates should produce Aadhaar card as proof of residential address and the following time of joining :
a) All original certificate mentioned in point 2.
b) Two sets of attested copy of all documents.
c) 6 nos. of passport size color photographs.
d) SC / ST / OBC candidates should produce original, attested copy of caste / non-creamy layer certificates.
e) NATS Registration ID. (www.mhrdnats.gov.in)
f) Police Clearance Certificate.
g) Dependency Certificate(for dependents of FACT Employees )
h) Medical fitness certificate obtained in the prescribed format with valid lab reports.
i) A Valid and Negative Covid-19 test report (RTPCR) taken 1 to 3 days before the date of joining and Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate.
10. The stipend amount and period of training will be as per prevailing Apprenticeship Act.
11. FACT has not authorized any other website to publish this advertisement. Therefore, the company is not responsible for any misleading information that may appear on any other websites.
12. Any change / modification in the above notification will be intimated through the official website www.fact.co.in only and will not be intimated through any other media.
13. The decision of FACT shall be final and binding in all matters relating to selection. FACT will have the right to cancel the notification without stating reasons.
