Recron 3s is a virgin polyester & polypropylene mono-filament fiber. It is a specially Engineered and shaped (Triangular) synthetic fiber for use in concrete and mortar to Overcome shortcomings of concrete. Triangular fibers provide higher surface bonding.

Early Cracks in Plasters aren’t just unpleasant but they are indicative to something wrong in material selection or the procedure used for application. The most Common defects observed in Plasters are Plastic shrinkage cracks & drying shrinkage cracks

Type of cracks in Plaster

Plastic Shrinkage Cracks: Plastic Shrinkage crack results when an excessive amount of water is lost from the plaster in the first few hours after its application.

Drying Shrinkage Cracks : Drying shrinkage result due to moisture loss after the plaster has hardened. Plaster is bound to shrink and crack. Usually , Plaster applied in layers that are too thick (i.e., >20mm) will tend to crack in this way.

Dosage Rate:

Plaster :-

Use 6 mm Recron 3S @125 gm/bag of cement of 50Kg in 1:4 cement sand ratio. Dosage rate can be altered as per requirement.

Content of this pouch should be used with half cubic meter (1/2 m3 )of concrete

Concrete:-

Use 12 mm Recron 3s 900 gm /cubic meter and how it works are describe as following :-

There are more than 65-70 million fibers in one m3 of concrete which holds on the cement matrix. This arrests shrinkage stress (reduced micro cracks and permeability). Fiber matrix helps Improve energy absorption and abrasion resistance.

Direction of Use :-

Mixer :

Sprinkle the fiber in the rotating site mixer with 2- 3 liters of water /add aggregate/sand/cement and balance water and rotate it as usual

Manual Mixer :

– For best result ,use one bag of recron 3s (125 gm) with one bag of cement.soak half a pouch of recron 3S in a bucket of water.Mix half a bag of cement and required sand thoroughly an make a pond.Pour content of the bucket int the pond and mix thoroughly for a few minute.

Note:-

Recron 3s is for improving the quality of construction.It also result in saving of cement and sand helps completing target job earlier
