The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown Representative’s Police on 27th July 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has completed 81 years of glorious history. The Force has grown into a big organization with 246 Bns, (including 203 executive Bns,05 VIP Security Bns, 6 Mahila Bns, 15 RAF Bns, 10 CoBRA Bns, 05 Signal Bns and 01 Special Duty Group, 01 Parliament Duty Group), 43 Group Centres, 22 Training Institutions, 03 CWS, 07 AWS, 03 MWS/SWS, 04 Composite Hospitals of 100 bed, 18 Composite Hospitals of 50 bed and 06 Field Hospitals.

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University

Selection Process :-

The selection will be done on the basis of:

  • Physical Standard Test (PST)
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Written Examination
  • Documentation
  • Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
  • Interview.

The merit lists will be prepared on the basis of aggregate of marks obtained in written test and Interview by the candidates. The minimum cut off percentage of marks for selection will be fixed by the CRPF

Fee Detail

  1. Male candidates belonging to Unreserved/EWS/OBC category – Rs. 400/- only as examination fee.
  2. SC/ST/ Female – No fee
  3. Fee may be sent through Indian Postal Orders and Bank Drafts only which is issued on or after 30/06/2021
